Rick's Cafe, Casablance - One Bangsar

Who's Rick? This cafe's name was inspired by the movie, Casablanca...Wikipedia describes Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) as a bitter, cynical American expatriate in Casablanca. He owns and runs "Rick's Café Américain", an upscale nightclub and gambling den that attracts a mixed clientèle of Vichy French and Nazi officials, refugees and thieves. Although Rick professes to be neutral in all matters, it is later revealed that he had run guns to Ethiopia to combat the 1935 Italian invasion, and fought on the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War against Francisco Franco's Nationalists
Pleasant interior design

Menu at Rick's

Our 1st course would be Brandade of White Cod (RM13), mashed potatoes mixed with salted white cod and topped with a cheese coating that was grilled. It actually quite salty, just spread the white cod with bread on top

Chicken Rolls with Bacon Skewer, side mix vegetables would enhance appetizer and slowly enjoy with the chicken rolls

Spring Chicken Tagine (RM28), the special sauce just right in taste

Roasted Banana Souffle with chocolate gelato (RM14), i like the airy textre of souffle and it baked heavenly right in texture. For the gelato, i was not keen on it

Coffee Creme Brulee (RM14), crust sugar on top. I like the burnt sugar coated evetually and the bite felt of crust sugar together with cream brulee
