This shoe may be engineered in China but mind you it doesn’t come cheap. I am talking about the Nike Sportwear 1 World AF1 by Maharam Limited Edition which is created from Layers, a textile which has been developed by Maharam Design Studio and Hella Jongerius. Layers has been woven in Italy and was sent to Germany for embroidery work.
You must understand that Nike Air Force 1 has evolved with the help of Mahram. Layers is not a simple piece of textile rather it is created from 100% wool felt utilizing sophisticated embroidery equipment for creating patterning which is engineered further to meet the standards of AF1. It retails for $250.I must say comfort certainly comes at a price!!
